IL Route 9 Rehabilitation Phase I

Project Scope:
The project involved improvements to 6.18 miles of IL Route 9 from 2000 feet east of I-74 to the intersection of Carnahan Drive in Bloomington. Hermann & Associates was responsible for the preparation of the drainage study & Phase I Drainage Report. The drainage study included an evaluation of the existing drainage systems and outfalls, identified drainage problems, evaluation of major culvert crossings, floodplain examination, development of design criteria, inlet spacing calculations, proposed drainage alternatives, and recommendations. Hermann & Associates' scope of work also included the detailed design of approximately 100 ADA curb ramps to comply with United States Access Board PROWAG Guidelines. Additionally, Hermann assisted in quantity calculations for project cost estimating.
